Presently we are unable to sponsor and request applicants to apply who are authorized to work without sponsorship*Employment TYPE: Contract W2 & Contract Independent - NO C2CJob Title: Full Stack Java DevelopersPosition Address: New York, NY – OnsiteMust have:Spring boot, Microservices, Apache KafkaRoles and Responsibilities:Hands-on development: Deliver critical components, prototypes, and complex features; unblock others by tackling the hardest problems.Code quality & reviews: Establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure test coverage, readability, and maintainability.Mentoring & coaching: Guide engineers’ growth, pair on design/coding, share best practices, and help onboard new team members.Delivery ownership: Drive execution—break down work, estimate, manage dependencies, and ensure milestones are met with predictable delivery.Operational excellence: Own reliability in production—monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative improvements.Performance & scalability: Identify bottlenecks, optimize services, and ensure systems meet latency/throughput/SLA expectations.Security & risk management: Ensure secure design and implementation (e.g., authN/authZ, secrets handling, vulnerability management) and reduce operational/technical risk.Stakeholder management: Communicate tradeoffs, status, and risks to product, design, QA, ops, and leadership; clarify requirements and priorities.Process improvement: Improve engineering practices (CI/CD, testing strategy, release processes) and remove recurring team friction.Solution design & architecture: Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable designs; define APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
