What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Specialist: Complete all aspects of the production process including equipment set-up and maintenance, production/fabrication, testing, production, training, and machine/tool-makingPerform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projectsWork from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and componentsInteract with development and/or manufacturing engineering personnelPerform inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing processConduct dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assembliesDirect the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectivesPrioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supplyWhat You Need to Bring to the Manufacturing Specialist Role: High School Diploma or GEDPrevious related experienceAbility to operate machinery or computer devices to produce a product or serviceAbility to interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists in approving or rejecting final assemblyMust be willing to work as part of a larger teamWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
