As an Automotive Body Repairer, you will work closely with clients to build strong relationships, thoroughly inspect and evaluate vehicles, and provide accurate, honest estimates for repair. You will also assist with repairing vehicles, managing multiple repair projects at once, and working closely with coworkers to ensure work is completed properly and on time. The ideal candidate has previous autobody experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and strong attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesInspect and provide accurate estimates for auto-body repairMaintain strong lines of communication between yourself, the Maaco repair team, and the client throughout the whole process to build relationships and provide excellent customer serviceRepair vehicles to the best of your ability, maintaining our high standardsWork within the guidelines of various insurance guidelinesMakes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.Participates in all required safety meetings.QualificationsMust have own toolsMinimum of 3 years of experience working in a collision shop.Ability to repair or replace panels according to OEM proceduresAbility to use frame machine preferredCertification in body repair preferredI-CAR certified preferredSkill in analyzing and interpreting measuring dataMechanic experienceWeldingStrong customer service skillsExcellent attention to detailFamiliarity with insurance guidelines desired
