Indirect Tax Manager - $150K + Bonus

We service our clients primarily in the NYC area as well nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).Our client is seeking a Indirect Tax Manager to join their growing Finance team. The right candidate will bring a combination of technical tax expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication and collaboration skills to ensure the organization’s compliance and financial well-being.Responsibilities:Lead all indirect tax matters including sales and use taxes, property taxes, regulatory taxes, compliance, as well as compliance, audit management, risk management and analysisReview and file all indirect tax returnsManage indirect tax exemption certificate processesManage all sales and use audits, reconciliations and reserve analysesManage relationships with outside audit teams and advisorsImplement improvements to promote efficiency in indirect tax processes and to streamline compliance and reporting proceduresManage technology and tax automation toolsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceMin of 7 years indirect tax and technical tax experienceExperience with international indirect tax preferredExperience with regulatory taxation in US telecommunications industry preferredExperience with Vertex and SAP ERP
