Position SummaryWe are seeking an Integration Engineer to design and develop software solutions for our client base. This role involves the design, testing, documentation, and coordination of software functionality, ensuring usability, performance, and compliance with standards.Remote Work Options: Some duties for this position may be performed remotely, and options for a hybrid (telework/onsite) work schedule are available.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Requirements: Develop comprehensive designs and requirements to create a fully integrated and continuously evolving EHR solution.Site Evaluations and Strategy: Conduct evaluations at customer sites and determine effective implementation strategies.Training and Mentorship: Offer training and mentorship to integrators across the organization, fostering skill development and best practices.Hands-On Integration Development: Perform light-duty hands-on integration development tasks as needed.Proposal Evaluation and Negotiation: Assess proposals, negotiate integration efforts, and manage delivery timelines.Requirements Definition: Ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and understood before project initiation.Customer Implementations and Migrations: Lead customer implementation projects and manage migration efforts effectively.Staff Evaluations: Conduct evaluations of integrators and provide feedback to support their professional growth.Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate large-scale integration projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.Other DutiesCoordination and Communication: Facilitate effective coordination and communication among the Director of vxVistA Development, vxVistA Chief Architect, Project Management Office, and Systems Product Line Manager.Transparency Enhancement: Enhance transparency with both internal and external clients to ensure clear and open communication.Information Dissemination: Disseminate relevant information appropriately and effectively to stakeholders.Documentation Support: Assist in documenting and sharing information pertinent to software development processes.Deliverable Development: Contribute to the creation of key deliverables, including system design documentation and essential release management documents.This job posting provides a comprehensive overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. It's important to note that the incumbent may not be expected to perform all listed tasks and may be assigned additional responsibilities related to the position as needed.Must have a solid background in Healthcare.5-10 years of experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.15 years of experience in Integration.5 years of experience with SQL Server.5 years of experience in API Development.10 years of experience in Integration Development.Demonstrated expertise in architecting and implementing FHIR services.5 years of experience in VistA HL7 development (preferred).Extensive experience with integration engines such as Pilotfish, Ensemble, and Cloverleaf.Proven leadership skills with a track record of excellent customer relations.U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required Visa Sponsorship or C2C not availableEducationRequired: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Applications, or a related field. Required: Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.Desired - Master’s degree in a related field, with a preference for a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree.Certifications And LicensesRequired: Relevant certifications applicable to the position or field of study.Desired - Certification as a developer or equivalent industry experience.Minimum Of 3 Years In a Similar Role, With Expertise in software development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Experience with VistA systems.
