This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting a collaborative team environment.General PurposeThe RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing operations during the assigned shift. This role ensures that care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and resident care.Essential DutiesSupervise and support nursing staff including LVNs, CNAs, and Treatment NursesCoordinate and participate in resident care and perform skilled assessmentsAdminister medications, treatments, and IV therapy as neededMake rounds and provide shift reportsMonitor and respond to changes in resident condition and medical emergenciesCommunicate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and familiesEnsure physician orders are accurate, current, and properly communicatedOversee admissions, care planning, and documentation complianceParticipate in quality assurance programs and regulatory surveysConduct audits of medication carts, documentation, and nursing practicesMonitor infection control and safety proceduresCoach, counsel, and educate staff to support performance and developmentFacilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaborationIdentify staffing needs and assist with schedulingSupervisory ResponsibilitiesAssist with the overall supervision and management of the nursing staff to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (SNF experience preferred)Supervisory experience preferredExperience with EHR systems (PCC preferred)Licenses & Certifications:* Current RN license in good standing* Current CPR certificationSkills & Abilities:Strong leadership and clinical skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to interpret policies, procedures, and regulationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPhysical DemandsFrequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and reachingAbility to lift up to 50 poundsOccasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouchingStrong visual, auditory, and communication abilities requiredWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a healthcare setting with moderate noise levels.
