Warehouse Driver

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse Driver to join our team at our North Phoenix Branch. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m)About the position:As a Warehouse Driver you will be responsible for providing excellent service within ARS Warehouse ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting the ARS Workflow to the best of your ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.Deliver HVAC parts to customers; ensuring all items on truckFollow supervisors' directions to ensure following correct routes and delivery instructionsComplete daily Vehicle Maintenance InspectionsVerify vehicle has sufficient fuel, use gas card for fueling as neededAssist in loading and unloading of all trucksReport any order issues or shorts to ManagerQuality control on all items going out for delivery:Inspection of all inventory ensuring accuracy of pick listEnsure warehouse is in proper order (clean, debris picked up, forklifts in proper charging area etc.) before the end of each shiftClean and sanitize restrooms and counter areasSafe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)Follow the PWM's (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouseEnsure all Safety Procedures followedWears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Additional duties as assigned by ManagerA minimum of a High School Diploma is required.A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred.Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.Ability to maintain a valid driver's licenseClean Motor Vehicle/Driving RecordMust be able to communicate well with others.Ability to handle multiple tasks.Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.Basic typing/10-key skills.Must be a minimum of 21 years old
