This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Main responsibilities:The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing and/or overseeing preventive maintenance on equipment. Completion of daily of Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders, scheduled repair work orders, and unscheduled emergency repairs, and project work associated with the operation of a production and warehouse facility.This position requires the following:Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activitiesAbility to maximize productivity and minimize wasteWillingness to work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environmentPerform all needed maintenance functions in support of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiative and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.Perform emergency repairs as neededPerform preventative maintenance task as scheduledParticipate in continuous improvement processMaintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and product support areasWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:Computer skills (basic computer knowledge)Working knowledge of PLC controls (helpful, but not required)Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-480V systems, AC & DC control systems, installing, troubleshooting and repairWorking knowledge of hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systemsKnowledge of refrigeration systems, with ammonia (preferred by not required)Welding-TIG, MIG, Stick, etc. Stainless / Sanitary equipment experience (helpful but not required)Ability to read and understand blueprintsForklift and pallet-jack certification (helpful, but not required)Knowledge of plant mechanical processes sufficient to analyze performance trends and recommend and initiate corrective actions to improve process performance.Physical Demands of the Position:Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. above the waist 10 times per daySignificant bending and stoopingExposure to heights (may be elevated 40ft. on lift equipment)Willingness to work extended or any scheduled work hoursWe also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
