Director of Global Product & Packaging Regulatory Compliance
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Global Product & Packaging Regulatory Compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all LeMans's products meet global regulatory requirements across their lifecycle and are aligned with evolving standards, enabling safe, compliant, and market-ready offerings.This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers. The Director will ensure consistent execution across regions, mitigate risk, and drive proactive compliance practices through cross-functional coordination to ensure products are compliant and aligned with evolving global standards. What You'll DoLead the global compliance strategy for product composition, labeling, and packaging regulationsEnsure adherence to key international regulations including EU (ECE, CE, REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR, PPWR) and U.S. requirements (e.g., California Prop 65, PFAS)Partner with third-party suppliers to ensure their products meet all compliance standards and expectations Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Supply Chain, and Product Development to embed compliance into business processes Oversee product material compliance and restricted substances management programs Monitor global regulatory changes and translate them into actionable business requirements Establish and maintain supplier compliance standards and expectationsLead audits, corrective actions, and serve as the primary contact for regulatory and customs authorities Support labeling, safety documentation, and reporting requirements across regionsTrain internal teams and serve as the subject matter expert on global regulatory complianceDrive continuous improvement in compliance processes, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordinationWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field 7–10 years of experience in product regulatory compliance Experience in powersports, automotive aftermarket, or a discretionary spend industry highly preferred Strong knowledge of global regulations including REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, and related frameworks Demonstrated ability to manage multi-region regulatory requirements and compliance strategiesExperience partnering with suppliers and integrating compliance into supply chain and product development processesFamiliarity with global packaging regulations and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs Experience working with testing laboratories and certification bodies preferredExcellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirementsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiencesAdditional DetailsTravel: Up to 25% required with potential for international travel Remote eligibility: Yes, with commutable distance to corporate headquarters in Janesville, WI preferredPhysical requirements include extended periods of sitting, computer use, and occasional travel by vehicle or air DisclaimersNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.LeMans Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
