Office Assistant

An apartment community in Glenview has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Management Office.Responsibilities include:Handling new tenant move in and move outs in the building;Assist tenants with any questions regarding the building;Create and close out tenant work orders in the property management software;Running reports for management through the property management software and Microsoft Office programs;Ordering supplies, maintaining inventory of supplies, etc.;Responsible to ensure mail is distributed and sent out as required;Handling all tenant files, processing credit card payments, running credit checks and ensuring completion of files;Work in a team environment to ensure the management office runs smoothly;Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferred;2 – 3 years of previous office experience preferred. Previous real estate experience preferred.Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communications;Must be highly organized, professional and able to handle multiple priorities;Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
