Machine OperatorVolt is immediately hiring Machine Operator in Forest Park, Georgia. As a Machine Operator, you will:Be responsible for operating brake press machines to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.Be responsible for performing welding and cutting tasks using plasma equipment with precision and safety.Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the worksite, ensuring compliance with health guidelines.Be responsible for preparing, packing, and loading materials for transport; verifying shipping documents and inventory accuracy.Be responsible for cutting, finishing, and adjusting materials to meet production requirements.Be responsible for assisting in duct assembly, installation, and fabrication processes.Be responsible for operating punch machines to cut, stamp, or shape materials as per production needs.This is a full time, Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent.Basic knowledge of machine operation and safety procedures.Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Prior experience with brake press, plasma welding, or punch press machines.Familiarity with duct fabrication and trim finishing processes.Experience in warehouse shipping and sanitation roles.Knowledge of quality control standards in manufacturing.Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance.Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
