Full Charge Bookkeeper – Aviation ServicesJet Services | Mobile, AlabamaJet Services is seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Mobile, AL. This role supports the accounting operations behind our private jet charter, aircraft management, and aircraft maintenance divisions.This position combines daily bookkeeping responsibilities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable for charter operations, aircraft management expenses, and maintenance vendor invoicesManage accounts receivable including charter trip invoicing, management fees, and customer collectionsRecord daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial recordsPerform bank, credit card, and vendor statement reconciliationsAssist with financial tracking of Part 135 charter revenue and trip-related costsSupport charter billing including fuel, landing fees, catering, and other trip-related expensesAssist with monthly aircraft owner billing and operating expense trackingMaintain records of maintenance-related costs and vendor invoicesPrepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activitiesSupport preparation of internal financial reports for management reviewQualificationsRequiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of bookkeeping experienceExperience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliationsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferredExperience in aviation, charter operations, or aircraft management accountingFamiliarity with tracking expenses by aircraft or job/project costingExperience supporting month-end close and owner/customer billingAbout Jet ServicesJet Services provides private jet charter, aircraft management, aircraft sales, and aircraft maintenance services.
