Job Summary The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a servo-driven narrow web flexographic/digital hybrid press. This role ensures high-quality label production while minimizing waste and downtime.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate flexographic and digital hybrid printing pressesPrepare press for production, including loading substrates and installing toolingMount plates, adjust print settings, and ensure proper press configurationMonitor ink, substrate, and tooling to meet production specificationsAdjust ink flow, press speed, and drying temperatures as neededTroubleshoot print and mechanical issues to reduce downtime and wastePerform routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and minor repairsEnsure jobs meet quality and production standardsQualifications Proven experience operating flexographic presses (Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityHigh attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyGood communication and teamwork skillsPhysically capable of standing, lifting, and performing press operation tasksIdeal Candidate Experienced flexographic press operator with hands-on knowledge of narrow web pressesDetail-oriented with strong focus on quality and efficiencyProactive problem solver who can resolve production issues quicklyComfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentOpen to growth and advancementSimple Explanation of the Job You will run and maintain a printing press that produces labels, making sure it runs smoothly and produces high-quality work
