Position Highlights: Location: Near Morris, AL Start Date: January 6, 2025 Shifts: Day shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Night shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Scheduling: Weekend shifts (days or nights) required Block schedules not available Job Responsibilities: Provide emergency care in a fast-paced environment with an annual patient volume of 12,000. Work closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a supervised model if applicable. Ensure quality care with a focus on patient outcomes and safety. Requirements: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM). Residency trained in an ACGME-accredited program. Certifications required: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Proficiency with Cerner EMR system preferred. Active Alabama state medical license required prior to privileges. Additional Details: Daily Census: Average of 32 patients per day. 1-day orientation and EMR training. Onboarding includes vaccination compliance (COVID, Flu, TB, Hepatitis, MMR).
