Sr. Engineering Manager - Transportation

Farnsworth Group is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager in the posting locations below. In this role, you will provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects. Services are for local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning and design projects.Posting Locations for this role: Belleville, Champaign, Effingham, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Pontiac, Springfield, Tinley Park, IL; RemoteWhat You'll Do:Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and designDevelop and mentor staffCollaborate with other disciplinesDevelop and maintain Client RelationsEstablish and maintain budgets and schedulesWork in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and CompanyWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experienceLicensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projectsProven leadership skills with engineering staffStrong team player in a multi-disciplinary environmentAbility to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projectsAbility to contribute to several projects simultaneouslyWorking experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD.Who We AreJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
