A finance processor (also referred to as a payment processing specialist) will be required to properly maintain their processing queues by accurately processing borrower requests and processing partner updates.Summary & RequirementsWe’re currently recruiting for our next internship class which will begin in January 2025. You must be at least a Junior by January to apply for this program. Working at the Dayton office is required due to security measures. Transportation is the student’s responsibility. Interns are not required to work during school holidays/breaks. Edfinancial also observes federal holidays. This internship requires an extensive government security clearance background check. U.S. citizenship is required. Your security clearance must also be approved to honor your program hours. Onboarding documents must be completed and submitted before each deadline in order to start the program. Failure to provide documents within a timely manner will prevent students from getting accepted into the internship program, as a l security clearance must be completed before your first day of internship. A minimum of 15 hours per week must be completed (exception: student/company holiday breaks that are longer than one day that week). Interns must complete at least one full semester of fulfilled duties in their internship program. If performance exceeds standards, students also have the option to extend their internship until graduation/last day of classes. Interns are not eligible for some regular employee benefits such as health, dental, and vision. However, your fringe pay can be used for 401k savings. Interns are encouraged to apply for a career at Edfinancial after graduation, even if it is not in the Finance department.
