Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support deployment and commissioning activities within manufacturing and material handling environments. This is a hands-on, field-focused role supporting active automation projects with a strong emphasis on Siemens PLC systems and autonomous material flow technologies such as AMRs and AGVs.The ideal candidate will be comfortable stepping into late-stage deployment environments, troubleshooting live systems, and driving execution during commissioning and production ramp-up.Key ResponsibilitiesCommission and deploy automation systems within manufacturing environmentsProgram, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens PLCs using TIA PortalSupport integration and startup of Siemens drives (G120 / G150) and related control systemsWork with Profisafe and safety PLC systems, including safety blocks and configurationsDiagnose and resolve automation and system issues during commissioning and startupCollaborate with cross-functional teams supporting AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and material flow systemsTake ownership of systems following onboarding and training periodProvide on-site support and adapt quickly to changing production requirementsRequired SkillsStrong experience with Siemens PLC programming and commissioningHands-on experience with TIA PortalExperience with Siemens G120/G150 drivesKnowledge of Profisafe and safety PLC configurationsBackground in manufacturing automation, controls, or material handling systemsTroubleshooting and startup/commissioning experience in live production environmentsExperience working with AMRs, AGVs, or automated material flow systems is preferredAdditional InformationHands-on commissioning role with active deployment projectsFast-paced manufacturing environmentInitial 2–3 week onboarding and ramp-up periodTravel or extended on-site support may be required based on project needs
