For more information, visit the company's website at www.assureneuromonitoring.com.This position is located in DENVER, COLORADO.Job Summary:The Intraoperative Neurophysiologist (INP) is responsible for providing exceptional full service clinical intraoperative neuromonitoring. It is paramount that the INP provide industry leading clinical care for each patient in support of our Surgeons and Facilities. The INP will work with their team members under the guidance of the Regional Manager, Territory Directors and National Director to ensure all customers (facility, surgeon and patient) are being taken care for and services in a professional and industry leading manner.Duties/Responsibilities:Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring clinical services in a professional and competent mannerRemains immediately available for case coverage during normal business hours and while on call.Abide by all Facility specific Policies, Procedures and Practices.Obtain and maintain all credentials for which Assure Neuromonitoring provides services for in territories you are responsible for case coverage.Abides by all Assure Neuromonitoring Clinical Policies and ProtocolsAbides by the Assure Neuromonitoring Employment Handbook AgreementAlways remain HIPAA compliantCompletes all assigned compliance training on timeParticipates in all CEU activities offered by Assure Neuromonitoring Education DepartmentComplete required training to maintain CNIM certificationMaintain all credentialing requirementsComplete all assigned tasks on time this includes but not limited to: supply inventory, bench checks, compliance training etc.Fosters a positive collaborative atmosphere.Historically able to be a critical and strategic thinkerSuperior communication skills, externally and internallyFlexibility in scheduling availabilityRequired Skills/Abilities:CNIM board certification requiredDesire to continually push for clinical and process improvementsEntrepreneurial minded with ability to solve issues as they ariseResults driven with ability to put in the time/effort needed to succeedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEducation and Experience:* Bachelor's degree preferably in a science major, or ABRET granted credential in R.EEG.T or R.EP.T, of graduate of CAAHEP accredited NIOM Program* 4 years' experience as an Intraoperative Neurophysiologist, or a combination of education and experiencePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Communicating with others to exchange information.Ability to stand for many hours in a rowMust be able to lift 50 pounds at timesAbility to walk and ambulate independentlyAbility to bend, squat, kneel and twistAbility to type and complete significant amounts of computer workAbility to perform and efficient full IONM setup, to include machine setup, electrode placement, equipment troubleshooting, electrode breakdown, equipment breakdown and clean upSpending extended amounts of time in an operating room (cold environment, potentially stressful situations)Ability to maintain focus for extended amounts of time
