This role partners closely with the Director of Construction and the PMO to bring projects from planning through buildout and final turnover.If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy seeing projects move from blueprint to grand opening, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.The RoleAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will support all phases of construction management including scheduling, administration, procurement coordination, vendor management, and onsite buildout support.You will help ensure projects are delivered:On timeWithin scopeFinancially controlledAligned with LaserAways operational and brand standardsWhat Youll DoProject Scheduling & ControlsManage project schedules including start/finish dates, sequencing, durations, and progress trackingIdentify risks, communicate delays, and evaluate lookahead opportunitiesPrepare daily and weekly project status reportsSupport documentation retention and close-out processesConstruction AdministrationSupport construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change ordersPerform quality assurance reviews of shop drawings and construction plansEnsure compliance with contract drawings and specificationsProcurement & Vendor ManagementAssist with procurement coordination including confirmation of electrical, lighting, and HVAC takeoffsMaintain active vendor communication and follow up on deliverablesManage purchase orders and vendor invoicing processesField & Buildout SupportConduct periodic travel for site visits to monitor construction progressSupport onsite store setup and fixturizationCoordinate temporary labor for unloading, installation, and stocking activitiesEnsure execution aligns with LaserAways premium brand presentationWhat You BringBachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related field or 2+ years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of commercial tenant improvement construction and general building codesFamiliarity with permitting processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solvingProficiency in Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to supervise or assist with light general labor during buildoutsWillingness to travel up to 20%Must reside within reasonable distance of a major international airport to support travel requirementsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsRemote-based, virtual collaboration environmentPeriodic fieldwork and active construction site inspectionsAbility to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbsCompensation & Benefits$80,000 $85,000 annual salary (Exempt)Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffGenerous employee service discountsPerformance review and growth opportunitiesWhy LaserAway?This is more than a construction support role its an opportunity to contribute directly to the physical growth of a nationally recognized healthcare retail brand.
