This is a direct-hire opportunity offering excellent pay, steady hours, and long-term stability.Schedule10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday:5:00 PM–3:00 AM or 7:00 PM–5:00 AMRotation: 12 days on, 2 days offSaturday & Sunday: 12-hour shiftsOvertime and weekend availability required.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and piping or electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInspect and test machinery and equipment.Detect mechanical issues by sight, sound, or operation changes.Dismantle and repair defective machines or components.Install new or repaired parts.Clean and lubricate mechanical components.Install and repair electrical apparatus, wiring, transformers, and electronic components.Install and maintain piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Repair gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and similar equipment.Maintain building structures.Install, program, or repair automated equipment.Fabricate or repair machine parts using machine tools.Operate welding and cutting equipment.Perform routine preventive maintenance.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceOne-year certificate from a college or technical school ORTwo (2) to four (4) years of related experience and a high school diploma/GED OREquivalent combination of education and experience.Technical & Cognitive SkillsAbility to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, mechanical diagrams, and procedure manuals.Ability to write clear reports and communicate effectively with team members.Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to identify problems, gather data, analyze information, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables.Physical DemandsRegular use of hands for handling tools and equipment.Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and balancing.Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.BenefitsPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
