We are looking for a professional with 3 plus years of experience in a family law practice. Job requirements include strong writing and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to carry out multiple tasks at once and meet and exceed deadlines.Legal Administrative / Paralegal Responsibilities – Family Law PracticeClient & Case ManagementServe as the first point of contact for clients and manage attorney calendars, consultations, and meetingsOpen, organize, and maintain client files in the firm's document management systemCommunicate with clients regarding case updates, document collection, and upcoming court datesMaintain strict confidentiality with sensitive financial and personal informationCourt Filings & Legal DocumentsPrepare, format, and proofread legal documents, including divorce petitions, motions, affidavits, financial statements, separation agreements, and parenting plansFile pleadings and documents with Probate and Family Court through electronic filing systemsTrack court deadlines and ensure all filings are completed in a timely mannerParalegal SupportAssist attorneys with case preparation for hearings, mediations, and trialsDraft basic legal correspondence, motions, and discovery documents for attorney reviewOrganize exhibits, witness lists, and case binders for court proceedingsAssist with the preparation of financial affidavits and asset disclosuresDiscovery & Financial DocumentationCoordinate and track discovery requests and responses (interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas)Collect, review, and organize financial documents such as tax returns, bank statements, retirement accounts, and pay recordsPrepare summaries of financial records for attorney reviewScheduling & Case CoordinationSchedule court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetingsCoordinate with opposing counsel, court clerks, mediators, and expert witnessesBilling & Administrative SupportEnter attorney time and assist with client billing and invoice preparationMaintain retainer and trust account documentationManage correspondence, scanning, and document organizationIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply to this ad or send your resume to pkulturides@daleyaa.com.
