Security Officer

Overview: We are looking for an Unarmed Security Officer to work overnight at a corporate facility. $18/hr. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises. Responsibilities: Secure and oversee the front desk / lobby area Greet all visitors and check in all guests as required Take phone calls as needed Monitor security surveillance systems Observe and report suspicious or irregular activity Write incident reports as necessary and follow proper emergency protocols Conduct foot patrols inside the building and vehicle patrols outside using the golf cart Secure all access points as required Maintain professionalism and customer service Qualifications: At least 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Lv. II Non-Commissioned License in Texas required! Strong customer service skills Familiarity with report writing Monitoring and surveillance experience Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS! Must be able to pass a criminal / vehicle background check Must have a clean driving record
