Strategic Partner Development Senior Associate, Ad Measurement PlanningThis position may be located in one of the following locations: New York, NY, USA; Los Angeles, CA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; Playa Vista, CA.Minimum qualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships in the advertising or media industry.Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.Preferred qualificationsJD, MBA or Master's degree.Passion for and understanding of Google's products, the advertising industry, the advertising measurement and planning space.Ability to balance multiple high-priority initiatives and lead multiple time-sensitive partnerships or projects simultaneously.Excellent investigative skills, with attention to detail, and the adaptability to grow in an ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment.Excellent people-management and communication skills with the ability to form and articulate contractual, technical, financial, value points and trade-offs with partners and internal teams.About the jobAs a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership, and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You will work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support Google's online advertising business.Google's Global Ads Partnerships team brings the best of Google to help partners grow. The team partners with large technology companies, advertisers, publishers, and service providers across a broad range of advertising products.In this role, you will work directly with cross-functional executives and key leaders, both internally and with partners, on critical projects that drive Google's advertising business. You will lead agreements with key multinational partners that highlight the value of Google's advertising, and ensure that Google's own advertising measurement and planning products are exceptional. You will drive business-critical projects from beginning to end, manage partner relationships, and develop an insightful perspective on the latest industry trends and market opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional peers and leadership throughout Google, and provide coaching and thought partnership to other members of the Global Ads Partnerships team.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners and supporting Google's product teams with essential partnerships to enhance user experiences across multiple product areas.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000–$161,000, plus bonus, equity and benefits.Compensation details listed in U.S. role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.ResponsibilitiesLead partnership agreements and manage executive relationships and integrations with partners.Structure and discuss term sheets and agreements for business-critical partnerships and manage implementation and ongoing operations, including executive escalations.Understand the full scope of partners' businesses and objectives to maximize the potential of Google's partnerships.Drive the development of quantitative market analyses to identify and prioritize business opportunities for Google's advertising business.Collaborate with a broad range of internal constituents (product, engineering, sales, legal, PR) and work with cross-functional leadership to define, present, launch, and drive critical partnerships and organizational initiatives.Information collected and processed as part of your Google Careers profile and any job applications is subject to Google's Applicant and Candidate Privacy Policy.Google is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
