Together, Tufts Medicine brings together the strength of both academic medicine and community care.About the Division of Cardiology and Tufts Medical Center:The Division is part of the CardioVascular Center, an integrated Heart and Vascular Center with financial and strategic alignment across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.Has robust and growing interdisciplinary programs in cardiac arrhythmia, structural heart disease, valvular disease, and ischemic heart disease.Performs approximately 1,000 cardiac surgical operations per yearHas one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country; in 2024, the Advanced HF program performed a record 70 heart transplants, the most of any center in New England.Trains the next generation of cardiologists through an ACGME-accredited fellowship programHow you'll transform patient care:You'll join an outstanding team of cardiologists and imagers involved in complex in-patients and a wide array of out-patientsYou'll care for patients with both out-patient and in-patient clinical service timeWho you are: BC/BE in Cardiovascular DiseaseSubstantial interest in general clinical cardiology and the high-quality care of out-patientsLevel II or III training in echocardiography as well as current or anticipated Board Certification in EchocardiographySubstantial experience with transthoracic and transesophageal echo, stress echo, and techniques such as strain and 3D echocardiographyInterest and experience in academics highly desirable, with substantial opportunities for teaching and researchCompensation: Tufts Medical Center offers a competitive salary commensurate with training and practice experience.
