DescriptionABNA is seeking a Electrical Engineer for our Midtown St. Louis, MO location. This position requires a self-motivatedindividual to assist with design and development of lighting, power distribution, communication, instrumentation andcontrols projects. ABNA is a multi-disciplinary M/W/DBE firm experiencing growing opportunities for electricalengineering and building services design capabilities for governmental, manufacturing, commercial, and institutionalfacilities. Candidate must have 5-10 years of experience.Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of design services may include the following tasks and duties:Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.Create and review electrical equipment specifications.Prepare estimates of probable construction costs.Perform electrical engineering studies and calculations.Develop schematic drawings, wiring diagrams. MCC single line diagrams, control panel layouts, lighting & powerplan drawings.Review Shop drawings and vendor documentation.Clearly communicate concepts and ideas with clients and construction personnel.Read and interpret P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings.Develop proposals and project hour estimates.Assist with sales calls and interviews for projects.Meet with clients and vendors.Mentor less experienced engineers and designersRequirementsRequirements:5 to 10 years of experience.
