POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized food expeditor to support exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced luxury environment. This role requires strong communication skills, precision, urgency, and a commitment to quality and presentation standards.The food expeditor plays a critical role in the flow of service by acting as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring that dishes are prepared accurately, presented to standard, and delivered efficiently. From the success of MILA in Miami Beach to the expansion of AVA, CASA NEOS, and CLAUDIE, RDG is building a collection of destinations that offer more than a meal - they create unforgettable experiences.YOUR ROLECoordinate the timing and flow of dishes from the kitchen to ensure accurate and efficient service.Inspect plate presentation, quality, and completeness before releasing dishes to the dining room.Communicate clearly with chefs, runners, and servers regarding order status, modifications, and priority tables.Organize tickets and monitor pacing to maintain proper course timing and service standards.Maintain a clean, organized expo station and ensure service tools and supplies are fully stocked.Support problem resolution by addressing delays, missing items, or quality concerns promptly.Follow all sanitation, safety, and company policies while promoting teamwork and positive communication.Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by management.Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives.Follow all company policies, service standards, sanitation guidelines, and proper equipment usage.Demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask under pressure.Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and a performance-driven mindset.Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbsThis is not an exhausted list of job responsibilities.REQUIREMENTS* 1 -2 years of experience in a full-service or fine dining restaurant environment preferred* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
