The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including equipment maintenance, inventory management, data entry, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and a strong attention to detail. Successful candidates will also be self-starting, conscientious, rigorous, hard-working individuals who plan their own time well. They will be strong troubleshooters and not afraid of heights and comfortable with inside and outside work on a daily basis. Assistant Operators focus on the handling, transfer, and shipment of the hardened plastic pellets. Daily duties include maintaining stranding lines, boxing pellets, shipping trucks and railcars, and cleaning. Production runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Days are divided into two 12-hour shifts with changes from days to nights every 3 months. Work 2, off 2, work 3, off 2, work 2, off 3. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Follow safety protocols and procedures. Assist in the setup of production lines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Monitor production processes and report any issues to supervisors. Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with the equipment.
