Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.Position DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analytics Developer who is a team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our team.The successful candidate will have an advanced understanding of Data Analytics solutions and play a key role in designing, developing and supporting StandardAero's modern cloud-based Enterprise Data Analytics architecture (Power BI and Snowflake), along with supporting and migrating legacy Business Intelligence solutions to our new Analytics platform.As a Senior Data Analytics Developer, you have deep experience in data analysis, data transformation, data modelling and Power BI report/dashboard development. Using this skillset, you will work with the Data Analytics team and Business Stakeholders to gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, then develop enterprise data models and innovative analytics solutions which empower the organization to make data driven decisions. In this role you will be actively involved in key business initiatives and play an integral part in the organization's digital transformation initiative.What You'll DoCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Power BI and Snowflake solutions.Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.Build and manage ELT processes to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.Validate data integrity and enforce security policies to ensure secure, compliant access.Support enhancements to existing analytics solutions based on evolving business needs.Provide technical guidance, user training, and support, including troubleshooting ETL, data model, and reporting issues.Apply data governance standards and development best practices across analytics and reporting initiatives.Develop deep knowledge of company business processes and remain current on Power BI, Snowflake, and emerging analytics technologies.Position Requirements:Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field7+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards5+ years of enterprise data modeling experience (tables, attributes, relationships)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, M, paginated reports, Power BI Service administration)5+ years of advanced SQL experience, including development of stored procedures and views5+ years of ETL development experience, including Change Data Capture (CDC)Experience with at least two of the following: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2Experience integrating data via REST APIsExperience with SSIS and/or SSAS2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environmentRequires travel up to 25% of the time to support business needs, including but not limited to training, audits, and operational support across various locations.This role requires access to export controlled information.
