Job Summary: The Program Coordinator plays a key role in managing and supporting day-to-day programming within the School District of Philadelphia's PSTV multimedia studio. This role focuses on engaging students in hands-on content creation, coordinating studio-based programming, and fostering digital and media literacy across K-12 schools. The Program Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison for students, educators, and community partners, facilitating youth-driven broadcast content, managing studio schedules, and supporting educational initiatives aligned with PSTV's mission to provide equitable access to multimedia tools and real-world industry experience. The ideal candidate brings a blend of media production knowledge, educational programming experience, and strong organizational and communication skills to help elevate the reach and impact of PSTV's programming. Essential Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of student-led productions and studio programming • Serve as the primary liaison between PSTV and participating schools, educators, and community partners • Support students in all phases of production, including scripting, filming, editing, and broadcasting. • Provide training and mentorship to students on the use of professional multimedia tools and studio equipment • Oversee the planning and execution of live broadcasts, student showcases, and special studio events • Ensure all content produced meets quality, accessibility, and broadcast standards • Maintain detailed records of program participation, production schedules, and student engagement metrics • Supervise and support interns, volunteers, and junior production staff as assigned • Coordinate outreach efforts to promote PSTV opportunities to schools and community organizations • Assist with the development and delivery of media literacy workshops and related educational content • Monitor and maintain studio equipment and production spaces to ensure a safe and organized environment • Track and compile data to evaluate program impact and make recommendations for improvement • Support project management activities by tracking program timelines, documentation, and resource allocation • Represent PSTV at district and community events to raise awareness and support for programming • Collaborate with the PSTV team to align program goals with district-wide initiatives and student interests • Perform other duties as assigned in support of PSTV operations and educational mission Corporate Standards: • Comprehend and align to established goals and objectives within the framework of the Worldgate Continuous Feedback Approach • Stay up to date on computer skills and best practices, such as word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, Adobe software, email management, digital calendars, and video conferencing • Understand Worldgate's mission, values, and behaviors (The Worldgate Way) and ensure that daily interactions with Worldgate internal and external parties align to Worldgate's values and behaviors • Comply with criminal background check standards by maintaining a clear record throughout employment Key Competencies: • Leadership • Communication • Organization • Collaboration • Adaptability Qualifications & Skills: Required: • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Education, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in multimedia production, educational programming, or coordination roles • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and coordinating customer service or administrative support functions • Proficiency with video production tools, including cameras, audio equipment, and editing software • Strong organizational and project management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centered mindset Preferred: • Experience working with K-12 students or in school-based settings • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other digital media tools • Experience training, mentoring, or supervising interns or junior staff • Background in delivering media literacy or creative content workshops • Comfort with public speaking and representing programs at events Equal Opportunity Statement: Worldgate LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment, without regard to race, color, age, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, disability, pregnancy, marital status, or gender identity.
