Logistics Coordinator -Parts Manufacturer (35416)

An international automotive manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their company in the Delaware, Ohio area. The ideal candidate has at least 2-4 years of logistics and supply chain coordination in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, direct hire position.Logistics CoordinatorResponsibilities Include: Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s)Plan shipments and track deliveries from preparation to final destinationCommunicate with customers in regard to status updates and address any urgent questions, requests, or issuesCoordinate with sales department and track inventory levels to ensure accurate delivery of productMarket analysis and assisting with product demand forecastingCreation of activity and inventory reports for upper managementOther duties as assignedLogistics Coordinator Requirements Include: Associate's degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experiencePrevious 2-4 years' work experience in logistics, customer service, purchasing, or related field preferred, ideally within an automotive manufacturing environmentGood computer skills with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applicationsStrong customer service and interpersonal communication ability in a multicultural environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and good organizational skillsWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
