Project Manager (Flexible Packaging)
I'm partnering with a leading company in the flexible packaging industry to find a skilled Project Manager. This role is essential for engaging with clients, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Support - Engage with customers via phone and email to address inquiries, resolve issues, and manage emergencies professionally and efficiently. - Confirm delivery dates and proactively manage any changes to maintain customer satisfaction. - Prepare and provide formal quotes and re-quotes as needed. Project & Order Management - Oversee the procurement of materials, including tooling and ink matches, ensuring vendor selections meet project specifications. - Enter new and repeat orders into the system, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to necessary departments. - Issue all external purchase orders required to complete projects. - Lead preproduction meetings for new packaging projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with production and support teams to address kitting and packing needs, ensuring comprehensive order details. - Monitor production progress and provide updates to customers and sales teams. - Support sales representatives by addressing specific customer requirements and project needs. Accuracy & Continuous Improvement - Maintain accurate pricing files, specifications, and project information. - Drive continuous improvement by refining processes and building strong relationships with vendors and customers. Qualifications - At least 2 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry. - Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. - Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities with strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and customers. - Commitment to integrity, trust, and a customer-first approach in alignment with the company's principles.
