Ag Processing Inc (AGP) currently has an opening for a self-motivated full time Maintenance person to join our team in Sergeant Bluff, IA! This person will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment after completing diagnosis and troubleshooting various issues.ResponsibilitiesRepair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.Perform preventative maintenanceFabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder’s torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.Maintain plant sanitation standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalentKnowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulationsAbility to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specificationsSkilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loaderExcellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customersExcellent time management and organizational skillsAble to be available for on-call status periodically (as needed)Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.Ag Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.Organization SummaryAGP is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
