The base pay is $17.20 per hour.This position is responsible for cutting the left or right wing off then placing it on the wing line.TasksThis position uses a half circle motion with their knife to cut the wing to ensure bald head wing is produced. The team member has to use their arms, hands, and upper body repetitive motions and uses a knife all day.Work Environment: This position is required to stand the whole shift in environment with temperatures ranging from 45 - 50 degrees at all times.Safety Equipment: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment including hair net, beard net, cotton and rubber gloves, apron, sleeves, smock, boots, forearm guard, chainmail glove and hearing protectionRequirements: This position requires the use of cutting tools such as knives and or scissors and PPE.Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. This position work in a cold, damp or humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
