This contractor will serve as the primary point of coordination between internalteams, manage the complete project lifecycle from design through commissioning, and ensureall security installations are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate lives andbreathes project management and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Design:Review architectural floor plans and overlay company security standards and requirementsCollaborate with Regional Security Manager to assess site-specific security risks and mitigation strategiesPresent security designs and recommendations to stakeholdersCoordinate with internal teams including Workplace, Network, and AV/VC teams to ensure integrated solutionsDevelop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgetsVendor & Financial ManagementWork with approved integrators to obtain detailed quotes for installations associated with security systems, hardware, furniture and infrastructureTrack project costs and manage budget adherenceProcess and manage Purchase Orders for office build projectsNegotiate scope changes and manage change orders as neededProject Execution & CoordinationManage project schedules and ensure integrator adherence to timelinesAttend weekly project meetings and provide status updates on security deliverablesPresent project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to stakeholder groupsCoordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure seamless project deliveryMonitor project milestones and proactively address potential delaysSite Programming & CommissioningProgram security systems prior to on-site testing and commissioningTravel to project sites for testing and commissioning of all security hardwareConduct thorough system testing and validationManage punch list items and ensure complete system functionalityDocument system configurations and provide training to local teams as neededRequired QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in physical security or constructionPMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification strongly preferredExtensive Experience With Enterprise Physical Security Systems IncludingAccess Control SystemsVideo Management SystemsVisitor Management SystemsIntegrated security platformsProven track record managing multiple concurrent projectsStrong experience with budget management and financial trackingExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working with integrators and technical vendorsProficiency with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and floor plansWillingness to travel up to 30% for site visits and commissioningStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsRequired Technology ExperienceVideo Management: Axis cameras, Genetec Security Center VMS, Sureview systemsAccess Control: Wayvelinx cloud-based access controlAI/Analytics: Alcatraz.ai facial authentication, Ambient.ai computer visionNetwork integration and IP-based security device deploymentSystem programming and configuration experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldExperience with corporate real estate or workplace projectsKnowledge of building codes and security compliance requirementsExperience with enterprise-scale deployments across multiple locationsPrevious experience in technology or corporate environmentConstruction industry experienceKey Performance MetricsProject delivery on time and within budgetStakeholder satisfaction scoresQuality of system installations and commissioningAdherence to security standards and compliance requirementsEffective risk identification and mitigationWorking ConditionsPrimary office location: NYCStandard business hours with flexibility for project needsTravel required for site commissioning (estimated 20-30%)Occasional evening meetings for project coordinationProfessional office and construction site environmentsMust be able to work in active construction environments during site visitsPersonal AttributesExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and tight deadlinesCollaborative approach with strong interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyGenuine passion for project management methodologies and best practicesCompensationEstimated Pay Range: $123,326.50 - $160,000.00 USD/yrExact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt Milestone we strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and work with, where we all feel empowered to bring our full, authentic selves to work.
