*Operational Support Specialist* Select ACR, Inc. / Service Side Mechanical — Riverside, CA Full-Time | Salary up to $100,000/year ABOUT US Select ACR, Inc. (also operating as Service Side Mechanical) is a commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical services company that has served customers across Central California, Los Angeles, and Riverside County since 1949. We support a wide range of commercial and industrial clients through our field service, install, and maintenance operations. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an Operational Support Specialist to help keep our service operations running smoothly, based out of our Riverside office. This role sits at the center of the action — coordinating between customer service, regional managers, and field technicians to make sure jobs are scheduled, dispatched, tracked, and closed out efficiently. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Provide day-to-day operational support to customer service, regional managers, and field technicians * Coordinate scheduling and dispatch for service calls, maintenance visits, and installation jobs * Track work orders from creation through completion, flagging delays or issues early * Maintain accurate records in scheduling/dispatch and service management systems * Serve as a point of contact for customers on service status, follow-ups, and basic account questions * Support invoicing, job costing, and documentation processes in coordination with the office team * Help identify and resolve operational bottlenecks across business units * Assist with reporting on job status, technician utilization, and service metrics WHAT YOU BRING * 2+ years of experience in operations, dispatch, or administrative support — ideally in HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration, construction, or a related trades/field-service industry * Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving pieces at once * Clear, professional communication with customers, technicians, and management * Proficiency with scheduling/dispatch software, CRM, or field service management tools (e.g., Service titan, blue folder, service fusion, Salesforce, or similar) * Ability to problem-solve under pressure and prioritize competing demands * A team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed NICE TO HAVE * Familiarity with commercial HVAC or refrigeration terminology and workflows * Experience supporting multiple regional offices or business units * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS * Salary up to $100,000/year, based on experience * Dental and vision insurance * Paid time off (PTO) LOCATION Riverside, CA (on-site at our Riverside office).
