Job DescriptionPosition SummaryGuggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional, experienced Analyst to join its Telecom & Digital Infrastructure team with the Investment Banking group located in New York.With offices in New York and London, our Telecom & Digital Infrastructure team is a market leader within the sector, with strong relationships ranging from large cap public companies to middle market private companies and everything in between. The team has a long history of executing high profile M&A transactions and other capital markets advisory projects for the world’s most important telecom, networking, fiber, broadband, cable, towers, datacenters and edge / artificial intelligence / machine learning infrastructure companies, as well as financial sponsors and other sources of financial capital. Some of the team’s marquee transactions include serving as lead financial advisor to Macquarie and Aligned Datacenters on the largest data center transaction in history in 2025.We advise clients on various types of financial transactions and strategic advisory projects, including mergers & acquisitions, equity & equity-linked capital markets and debt capital markets transactions, joint ventures, balance sheet management, and other bespoke strategic & financial products. We believe Analyst development is critical to our strategy, and this role is seen as a career-track position.Essential Job FunctionsPrepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountantsAssist in the design and development of complex financial models and valuation analysisDraft internal and client-facing documents, including management presentations, lender presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooksPerform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentationContribute to the creation of strategic frameworks, tools, and intellectual property to aid business development activities of the firmConduct competitive research, including identifying sector and industry trendsGather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations to senior leadershipPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of investment banking or equivalent M&A experienceSignificant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior managementHighly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervisionExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsEffective process management abilitiesBasic QualificationsRequires a minimum of a Bachelor's degreeCore modeling and valuation experience in professional settingSIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employmentSalaryAnnual base salary is between $110,000 and $125,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
