Data Coordinator and Developer for Music Publishing Software
Data Coordinator and Developer For Music Publishing Software
Use your skills, experience and talents at an industry-leading music publisher. At Carl Fischer Music, one of the oldest sheet music publishers in the United States, we have over 150 years-worth of digital and terrestrial data that need to be harvested, standardized, and verified for accuracy. In the 21 st Century, it is vital for us to have accurate data about our works and it has a direct impact on dealer- and consumer-facing avenues.
As Data Coordinator and Developer, you will be responsible for the accuracy of work, product, contract, and composer data, as well as documenting and enforcing data best practices across all company avenues. Most data is integrated into our internal data management software. This is the ideal job for musicians who have music librarian experience; many of the same skills will translate to our data challenges, much of which is music-specific.
This position is full time and based in our NY office in the financial district.
