We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.Job SummaryWe are looking for a VMware Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads. The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at enterprise scale, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically, and brings strong automation and operations discipline.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldFive or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experienceDeep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXiHands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy managementExperience with NSX-T or NSX-V networkingStrong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation toolingFamiliarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platformsStrong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRMStrong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layersExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentialsExperience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVEFamiliarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize OperationsExposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platformsHow to ApplyWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
