The team is building a consistent weekly content operation that relies on strong visual storytelling to make complex topics clear, engaging, and cinematic. This role is a high-priority hire tied directly to the quality and speed of the channel’s visual execution.Position OverviewThe AI Animator will own the visual animation layer for weekly long-form explainer content, primarily supporting 10–15 minute videos centered on political and geopolitical topics. This role requires someone who can independently interpret spoken content, determine where animation should enhance the message, and execute high-quality visuals with speed and strong creative judgment. The ideal candidate can build the animation approach from scratch, work with minimal hand-holding, and deliver polished output on a consistent weekly schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesWatch long-form spoken video content and identify where animation should be added to support the messageDesign and produce AI-driven animation for weekly 10–15 minute explainer videosCreate cinematic documentary-style visuals, including motion maps, data overlays, timeline sequences, and stylized political illustrationTranslate scripts, briefs, or recorded commentary into clear visual storytelling without requiring step-by-step directionBuild and establish the visual animation system and style approach for the channel from scratchWork across multiple visual styles depending on the tone of each episode, including analytical, urgent, and historical contentAnimate maps, data, and geopolitical sequences in a way that improves clarity, pace, and engagementMaintain a high-volume output pace aligned with weekly episode deliveryCollaborate with the content lead while taking strong ownership of visual decisions and executionDeliver high-quality work quickly while maintaining deadline discipline and professional communicationQualificationsRequired QualificationsStrong AI animation and video generation skills using professional tools.Strong motion graphics and visual storytelling abilityAbility to independently design and execute animation for full long-form videosAbility to interpret political, geopolitical, or international affairs content and represent it visually with clarityAbility to work across multiple visual styles with strong creative judgmentExperience animating maps, timelines, data, or other documentary-style visual elementsDemonstrated ability to deliver high-volume output, including at least one episode-equivalent per weekAbility to work with minimal supervision and low promptingExcellent communication skills and strong deadline disciplineFull-time availabilityComfort working on political and geopolitical subject matterPortfolio with at least 3 examples of animated explainer or documentary-style workFluent in English (C1/C2 level)Preferred QualificationsExperience working on news, documentary, political media, or explainer-style contentStrong understanding of geopolitics, international relations, or modern historyExperience building animation systems or visual workflows from scratchStrong independent creative judgment and ability to propose visual ideas proactivelyFamiliarity with editorial map design, archival textures, and clean data-motion aestheticsWork Environment & CompensationSchedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)Location: Remote (LATAM Applicants only)Compensation: $1,800 USD/monthWeekly production cadence supporting one long-form episode per weekContent is centered on politics, geopolitics, and international affairsWe look forward to reviewing your application.
