Software Developer – Collision Mitigation Team (C++ & Python)We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join the Collision Mitigation Team – Software and Test. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and safety systems, with a focus on detection technologies such as cameras, sensors, and ultrasonic systems. However, candidates with strong safety system experience but no prior detection experience will also be considered.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain software solutions for collision mitigation systems.Work on HIL testing and automation.Implement test automation using Python.Contribute to software development in C++ (approximately 20% of the role).Integrate and test detection technologies, including cameras, sensors, and ultrasonic systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and safety.Required Qualifications:Proficiency in C++ for software development.Strong experience with test automation using Python.Hands-on experience with HIL testing.Knowledge of detection systems (cameras, sensors, ultrasonic) is a plus but not mandatory.Experience in safety-critical systems.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications:Background in automotive or embedded software development.Experience with ADAS or collision mitigation systems.Understanding of control systems and real-time applications.
