Product Developer Sampling
Hybrid (Onsite 2-3 days/wk)Description:DSI is searching for a Product Developer Sampling candidate who will be an Associate Product Developer responsible for coordinating the development and execution of product from design intent to production. They create and maintain development documents/reports ensuring timeframes are being met.Responsibilities:Sample TrackingTracking and checking in samplesEnsure system is being updated by regionOwnership of accuracy of informationWork with region to get ETA'sCreating and distributing weekly reportsRisk assessment & trouble shooting issuesCheck samples for accuracyWork w/ regional and cross functional partners on sample accuracy & quality call outsPrioritize samples by level of importanceRequest proto, color and sheerness samples in systemFlex System ResponsibilitiesData EntryCC Chart Maintenance Report RunningCC Chart updatesBOM MaintenanceProduct SolutionsOrganize color sample pass offs to region / vendorsSend development packages / Tech Packs to regionTrack sent packages and log in with arrivalSit in handoff/color blitz / details / sample pass off meetingsChange ManagementAttend weekly Cross Functional Team meetingsMaintain & update weekly agendasAttends Key Meetings, which may includeCross Functional Team MeetingsColor Blitz / Sample pass offsKey Milestone Meetings / Work & Assort SessionsWeekly FittingsWeekly Team MeetingsDetails MeetingsTalent ManagementAssist/train new hires in onboarding phaseIDP/PPO creationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in business/product development or related area or equivalent experience. 1 - 3 years of related experience. Demonstrate strong, consistent problem solving abilities and result-driven communication with business partners. Keen written, verbal and electronic communication skills, computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Basic knowledge of Flex PLM and Salesforce preferred. Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates. Ability to communicate design aesthetic direction to vendors/regional offices. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Basic knowledge of garment construction.
