About the Role We are seeking an Estimating Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop accurate cost estimates and quotations for manufactured products, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build deep expertise in manufacturing, cost estimating, and process engineering. Recent engineering graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Review RFQs, customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. Prepare accurate cost estimates, travelers, and material requirements. Prepare quotations and support pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness. Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to obtain lead times and costing information. Create and maintain BOMs, travelers, and ERP data. Provide technical support to Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales. Prepare reports and maintain engineering and quotation documentation. Preferred but not Required Evaluate manufacturability and provide recommendations for design improvements and cost reductions. Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling requirements. Support new product introduction, ECNs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in root cause analysis, Lean manufacturing, and cost reduction projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required. 1–3 years of quoting, estimating, or manufacturing engineering experience. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of PCBA, Wire and Cable assembly, and manufacturing processes preferred. Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620 preferred.
