Quanta’s focus on the utility industry and HBK’s focus on constructability in our designs has made our integration into the Quanta family of companies seamless.About This RoleA Program Manager at HBK Engineering is a position that leads, supports, and directs teams consisting of senior/project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability of new and existing utility systems. This executive-level role involves leading teams to identify all project risks and develop mitigation strategies while working on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of engineering and construction-related issues. The position requires comprehensive oversight of multiple programs with responsibility for building and maintaining client relationships while managing, developing, mentoring, and evaluating resources and direct reports within the organization.What You'll DoLead, support, and direct teams consisting of senior/project managers, engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in design, modification, analysis, and constructability of new and existing utility systemsLead teams to identify all project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies across multiple programsWork on challenging assignments including investigating, troubleshooting, and solving engineering and construction-related issuesPrepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates with executive authorityLead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget while managing financials and metrics related to projectsNegotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants and clientsManage, supervise, and schedule execution of programs with comprehensive oversight across multiple initiativesMonitor productivity, quality, financial health, and progress of programs with executive-level accountabilityLead safety initiatives as needed by the organization and ensure program safety complianceReport all project and program updates to clients and make recommendations based on professional education and experienceBuild and maintain client relationships at the executive level for long-term strategic partnershipsManage, develop, mentor, and evaluate resources and direct reports within the organizationOversee project managers and their teams with comprehensive leadership responsibilityTravel as required for program needs and client engagementCoordinate with area agencies, municipalities, and governing jurisdictions for program approvalsUtilize advanced proficiency in time and expense software for comprehensive program trackingLead engineering design teams through all phases of project designs with executive oversight. The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and the potential to participate in our discretionary annual incentive bonus program.
