Position Title: Project SchedulerLocation: 12301 Kurland Drive, Houston, TX 77034Primary Function:As a member of a project team, the Project Scheduler will be responsible for the development and maintenance of schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and other cost control measures.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEmployee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:Work with project management group to maintain project control documentsSelect appropriate Negotiation TemplateIssue Negotiation ScheduleIssue Preliminary Project ScheduleCoordinate project scheduling, tracking and forecasting to support project reportingUpdate Project Schedule from Negotiation TemplateFinalize Project Schedule and Manpower RequirementsCollect weekly/monthly updatesProvide special client requests i.e., Progress curves and reportsProvide exception reports to management and the project teamIssue "Redline" Schedule to clientsIssue other project control documents as neededOther duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications/ExperienceBachelor's degree from an accredited university required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in a construction environment is preferred.Possess skills in the following areas:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in scheduling electrical material preferredPrior experience with scheduling software such as Primavera and Microsoft ProjectProficient in MS Office SuiteAbility to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and within a team on a variety of projects to meet project deadlinesExcellent organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsThis position requires minimal physical effort.Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a dayWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work indoors, with occasional outdoor exposure to year around weather conditions and noise.Must be able and willing to travel overnight for trainings and/or meetings as required (10%)Working extended hours, including weekends, may be required periodically.May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds at a time.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions as defined per Company policy.Equal Employment OpportunityDashiell is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
