Software Engineer IIIJob Posting Start Date: July 27, 2020Job Posting End Date: October 30, 2020Location: San Francisco, CA _ prefer someone local or willing to relocate.Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack), Experience PlatformResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain and support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) frameworks, tools, services and libraries leveraging public cloud infrastructuresDevelop self-service capabilities for platform components and transparent platform-level features to address cross-cutting concernsWork closely with architects, designers and other engineers in a tightly knit agile teamEvaluate new tools and technologies through POCs and propose solutions for implementationPractice strong software development principles and best practices: Test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, code refactoring, coding standards, etc.Document best practices, guides, systems design, reference architectures and implementationsMinimum Qualifications5+ years of full stack software development experience with focus on UI in building large-scale distributed systemsStrong hands-on experience in developing applications in one or more language stacks: Java, Python, Go, Node.js2+ years of experience working with React, Angular, Node.js or similar web frameworks is required2+ years of experience in public cloud infrastructures: AWS preferredStrong understanding of object-oriented programming, service-oriented architectures, micro-services and design patternsDesired Qualifications (Nice to have)Experience with UI component libraries and/or design systemsGood hands-on experience developing applications on AWSExperience with CI/CD, DevOps and Pipeline-As-Code such as JenkinsExperience with Function-as-a-Service, AWS Lambda, Serverless, etc.Experience with Agile software development and Scrum methodologySuccess FactorsHighly motivatedSelf-directed and fast learnerTeam player
