Basic FunctionThe incumbent in this position will supervise a group of four (4) Summer Youth Laborers who will perform routine park custodial and landscape maintenance as well as painting and minor repairs.$2,000 end of season bonus for those who work through the end of season (8/15/25).SALARY: Grade 94REPORTS TO: Parks Maintenance Supervisor orChena Lake Manager orPioneer Park SupervisorPOSITIONS SUPERVISED: Four (4) Summer Youth LaborerRetention Bonus NoticeEmployees who work through the end of the season will be given a bonus of up to $1000 to be paid in the final paycheck.Expected Duration Of EmploymentMay 27, 2026 through August 14, 2026Typical Duties Coordinate activities for crew with Maintenance Division of Parks & Recreation. Coordinate work and maintenance/custodial/groundskeeping schedules. Supervise summer youth laborers, including assigning work, and ensuring safe and effective operations.Position RequirementsMinimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license. Must meet insurance standards and maintain insurability under the Borough's insurance program. If personal automobile is used for Borough business, proof of automobile insurance at statutory limits must be provided. (A CURRENT COPY OF DRIVING RECORD WILL BE REQUIRED UPON REQUEST) Demonstrated experience in routine maintenance procedures. Demonstrated supervisory experience; prefer experience supervising youth.
