Medication TechnicianBelmont Village Los GatosCompensation: $24.00 per hourJob Type: Part TimeMinimum Years of Experience: 1 yearAbout the RoleAs a Medication Technician at Belmont Village, you will assist residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community with their daily medications, monitor their responses and maintain accurate electronic medical records under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will support our licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent position for candidates who aspire to someday be a licensed nurse. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.Your Typical ResponsibilitiesAdminister Medications and Provide Personal Care: Follow physician's orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as neededDocumentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfactionSafety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facilityC.N.A.
