Job Description The Department of Medicine within our organization is seeking a full-time General Internist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide primary medical care and engage in teaching. Located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, our Outpatient General Medicine Faculty Practice is recognized as a Level 3 NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, featuring a fully integrated electronic medical record system and a comprehensive transitions of care program. This position offers opportunities for teaching medical students, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and conducting health services research. Our institution has positioned itself as one of the most vibrant public universities in the United States, excelling in health education, patient care, and research.
