Qlik Sense Developer

Job Summary For Qlik Sense Developer (NY Local Candidates) Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and key metrics related to corporate philanthropy. Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and applications using Qlik Sense. Develop and optimize scalable, high-performing data models. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data for reporting. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across dashboards and reporting solutions. Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through effective visualization design. Document dashboards, data models, and best practices to enable ongoing usage and self-service analytics. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and streamline data workflows. Work with structured datasets from multiple internal and external data sources.Requirements 5+ years of experience developing dashboards and applications using Qlik Sense. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Solid understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and data visualization best practices. Experience with data modeling concepts (including star schema and data relationships). Ability to translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver insights. Degree (BA, BS, MS, or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology field.Nice To Have Experience with corporate philanthropy, ESG, or nonprofit data. Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes. Experience integrating data from multiple sources. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
