Mental Health Worker (MHW) – Multiple Shifts Location: Concord, NH 03301 Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM): 4 Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): 4 Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): 4 Setting: Acute Psychiatric Care Facility Job Summary: Seeking Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to provide direct patient support in an acute psychiatric hospital setting. The role focuses on patient safety, behavioral observation, documentation, and daily care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient admissions, orientation, and unit adjustment Observe, document, and report patient behaviors and condition changes Support patients with hygiene, nutrition, and daily activities Maintain a safe, clean environment following safety and infection-control standards Use supportive and de-escalation techniques with anxious or agitated patients Escort and supervise patients for appointments and activities Reinforce individualized care plans and treatment goals Complete required documentation and participate in training and quality initiatives Requirements: BLS certification (AHA) at time of submission COVID-19 vaccination Ability to work assigned shifts Psychiatric or mental health experience preferred Additional Information: Orientation required on day shift for 4 weeks Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
